The following criteria has been established for admission into Burgundy:

  • Ambulate Independently (use of canes and walkers meets our criteria)
  • Alert to Time, Place & Person
  • Independent in the Activities of Daily Living (bathing, grooming, toileting, personal laundry, eating)
  • Independently manage medications
  • Aware of bathroom and continence needs
  • Smoke Free Facility

A Lifeline Personal Help Button ...

  • This slimline help button uses the most advanced technology.
  • Their small size makes them convenient and comfortable.
  • They are completely waterproof and can be worn in the shower
  • They can be submersed for easy cleaning.
  • Weighing less than half an ounce, they are comfortable to wear.


  • A Lifeline Telephone...
  • Full featured speakerphone, incorporating the standard Lifeline emergency
    call features that immediately link our residents to our staff.
  • When help is needed, the resident simply presses their call button and the Lifeline telephone immediately dials our onsite call center at the front desk (manned 24 hours a day).
  •  The large high contrast, illuminated keypad makes dialing easier.
  •  The Lifeline telephone allows you to record up to six personalized reminder messages.  These messages can be easily programmed to play daily, weekly or just once.

    A Lifeline Smoke Detector...
  • Photoelectric smoke detector with a wireless transmitter that notifies our staff when smoke is detected.
  • Audible alarm in the apartment while an emergency signal is transmitted to our response center at our front desk.

    At the Desk...
  • The RC500 Response Center is completely automated and provides the tools we need to monitor, perform administrative functions and receive and archive all system activity.
  • This system uses signature technology and protocols to provide consistent response practices that enhance resident safety.
  • Voice communication enables clear, automatic two-way voice communication between the resident and response center.
