"The number one thing to me is the building
is clean, also the help is efficient, courteous and congenial.
Steve Hackett the Administrator goes the second mile for everybody.
You can't beat him anywhere. He's encouraging, positive and
always has something to say to lift you up. We also have a
wonderful Activity Director and lots of activities including
church services. I like visiting with other residents and
all of them have a happy face, to me that's very important.
We are like family."

Quality Staff Providing Quality Care
Greenbrier Village Assisted Living has a licenseed staff to assist with personal needs, medication administration and support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Our staff assists with bathing, grooming and other activities of daily living. A wide range of social and recreational activities offers needed socialization with peers and encourages residents to remain active.
Meaningful Activities
The staff at Greenbrier Village Residential Living strives to provide a meaningful lifestyle for residents. A variety of activities are scheduled that strengthen relationships with family, friends and other residents.
Residents are encouraged to participate in scheduled activities but there are numerous opportunities to "socialize" throughout the days and evenings in the "neighborhoods", daily exercise program, card games, movies, Bingo, and the list goes on and on.
Residential Living has even developed programs that promote inter-generational relationships.
Greenbrier's full-day pre-kindergarten class is a collaboration between Enid Public Schools and Greenbrier Village. Enid Public Schools is the only district to offer two intergenerational programs and only a handful of programs like it are known to exist nationally.
The pre-kindergarten classroom is located in The Homes of Greenbrier. The classroom's configuration allow residents to watch the children's activities from their activity room. A playground is located in the main courtyard.
Intergenerational programs allow children to interact with seniors and research has found that there are significant rewards for all involved. The children have all the benefits of a typical early childhood classroom, while also learning from "grandmas" and "grandpas" who volunteer their time.
Children bring a renewed feeling of a home-like atmosphere to adults. As the little children connect with the aging generation, both are well served through those exchanges.
"The whole concept of bringing these two generations together seemed like an enriching experience for both the children, as well as the many grandparents who make their home at Greenbrier. We are supporters of the schools of Enid and their endeavors to create a unique learning experience for the very young."
