Special Needs, Special Care...

    Individuals with cognitive impairments have special needs that must be addressed in a routine, familiar, and simple manner.  The Rogers Home is uniquely qualified to address those special needs.  By offering a small, personal, homelike environment, residents are able to acclimate to their new home while establishing a routine that is familiar.  The rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and overall decor are customized for residents with cognitive impairments.

• 18 Private and 2 Semi-private Rooms
• Key Pad Entrance/Exit
• 24 Hour Supervision
• Management & distribution of all medications

• Assistance with all activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting)
• Three meals daily
• Full housekeeping and laundry services

    The Rogers Home offers services needed to care for and meet the physical and social needs of the residents.  The program has at its heart a team approach toward socialization activities.   Each month the facility hosts a family and resident social.

Routine, Simple, Familiar... Safety and Security

    Security is a fundamental need that we all have.  Understanding that fundamental need for our cognitively impaired residents is what contributes to the success of The Rogers Home.  Our facility is equipped with key pad locks that can only be opened with a numeric code.  Each room is equipped with a call light system.  If a resident needs assistance all they need to do is push a button and the staff is there to help them.
